A dramatic and weather-disrupted Feature Race brought the Silverstone weekend to a close, as torrential rain, a safety car, and a red flag combined to halt James’s progress through the field.

Starting from the back after a difficult Qualifying session, James made a strong start and was gaining ground steadily as the race got underway in tricky wet conditions. A smart tyre choice and confident early pace saw him moving forward through the pack before the chaos unfolded.

The turning point came just after the halfway mark. With heavy rain sweeping across the circuit and visibility worsening, the Safety Car was deployed following an incident on the main straight. Unfortunately, just as teams were preparing for strategy adjustments and a potential late push, the red flag was shown. The race never resumed.

James, along with several others caught out by the timing of the neutralisation, was unable to capitalise on his early momentum. The decision not to restart the race froze the order and ended any chance of recovery through strategy or on-track action.

Despite the result, there are positives to take away from the weekend. James showed composure in challenging conditions and will be aiming to bounce back at Spa-Francorchamps when Formula 3 returns from July 25–27.
