After a reshuffled grid from Friday’s qualifying, James lined up for Saturday’s Sprint Race at Spa-Francorchamps determined to make progress. Despite starting near the back, he showed solid racecraft and determination to bring the car home in P24.

Early in the race, James found himself caught behind team-mate Marinangeli, who managed to edge ahead during the opening exchanges. With limited opportunities to overtake in the early laps, James was held up as the field settled into a rhythm.

However, in the final stages, once James cleared the sister AIX car, he was able to unlock his true pace—closing the gap to the cars ahead and making clean overtakes through Spa’s fast, flowing corners. His final sector times were particularly strong, showing what might have been possible without the early delay.

While P24 wasn’t the result the team had hoped for, it was a drive full of character—marked by patience, control, and a strong finish. With learnings banked and momentum building, all eyes now turn to tomorrow’s Feature Race, where James will be pushing to make up ground once again.
